Ciara is an Asian American woman from the California Central Valley in the United States. She uses she/they pronouns and works full time in the Funeral Industry.

In addition to digital art, Ciara enjoys explorations of self expression through poetry, music, and various traditional art mediums. Her greatest artistic influences for Dumbyworld are Jellycat and Ohmonah.

Ciara uses Procreate on an 11th Generation iPad, Clip Studio Paint Pro on PC using an XP PEN 2nd Generation Artist 12 drawing tablet, and physical sketchbooks and pens to create her work. She has been drawing all her life and crocheting since early 2024.
