NEW STOCKIST -  BOOKISH, MODESTO, CA

I have a consignment agreement secured with a local bookstore called Bookish and I am SO excited about it! Bookish is an independent bookstore and coffee shop--one of the treasured third places in my community! They host so many cool events, support local authors and artists, and are an all around stellar business.

They'll be stocking a selection of Dumbyworld softies, keychains, and stickers! I'm still working on stock specifically for Bookish, and will share another communication when my little guys are available in store :)

ALSO, Bookish announced a Bluey Party on May 31st! I've been toying with some Bluey patterns and hope to provide some special-made softies for the event. More info coming soon!

OTHER NEWS

I want to push for more wholesale and consignment this month!! It has been something on my to-do list for quite some time and I feel like I'm in a place where I can handle the outreach while maintaining my storefront and stock. Sometimes I wonder when running this business and brand alone will become too much... but I haven't hit that ceiling yet :) I'm gonna keep going! I'm going to network and connect and branch out and share my softies and stickers with local businesses and my community!!!

That being said, I will still be working the Farmers Market every other week and have a convention coming up in Sonora on the 26th. If you're in the area, come say hi! :) I also have some items I've only been selling in-person that I intend to list online very soon. Many of them are keychains :)

I've been doing my best to stay healthy and well. Sometimes it's difficult to remember that mental illness is illness, that healing is not linear, that recovery takes time and looks different for everyone... but I'm doing it. I've been taking art classes, meeting new friends, connecting with old friends, and holding my chosen ones close to my heart. Every day is a fresh day, every little step is progress. I'm feeling good.
