NEWSLETTER ISSUE 05

January 4, 2025

Happy New Year, Everyone! :)

It has been a while! I hope everyone has had a restful and joyous holiday. I hope you all have been able to eat your favorite foods and be with your favorite people.

SHOP UPDATES

The Dumbyworld online store will remain closed for much of January--I have a lot of new things to prepare for, so will be putting the online storefront on temporary hold. If I can do a small reopening towards the end of January, you'll be sure to know :) with that being said, there will be no newsletter subscriber coupon code for this month.

When the site IS reopened, I will have a whole lot of new things included!! I'm putting together an Events Calendar with in-person event dates and information :) I hope to do more in-person markets, conventions, and popups now that this is my full time job.

We'll also have a page for Stockists! As mentioned previously, Dumbyworld is available in-store at Paper Moon SAS in Turlock, CA. I really want to branch out and wholesale with all sorts of retailers nationwide. Maybe even internationally, someday! If you have a favorite coffee shop, stationery shop, or bookseller that you think would vibe well with a little Dumbyworld in there, let me know! I'm happy to reach out!

COMMISSIONS

OOooooOO!!!!! COMMISSIONS!!!!! This month, I will be opening commission slots for digital art!! I'll have Your-Character-Here (YCH) commissions available on my Ko-Fi page and larger, custom commissions available to request through a Google Form. Both my Ko-Fi page and the Google Form are under construction, so please check out my Bluesky art account for the latest updates.

TWITCH STREAMS

I'll be working on a lot of commissions and Dumbyworld crafts on my Twitch Channel! Right now, my anticipated schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 noon to 3PM PST. This will be my first time trying to stream at regular intervals, so the schedule is subject to change and I will likely stream more often :) We'll be working on digital art, CoWorking/Bodydoubling, crocheting, and probably playing some games every now and then, too! My first affiliate stream will be this coming Monday, January 6th at 12PM PST!! Yaaaaey!!

-----

As always, thank you for being here. I've been really anxious leading up to today and am probably going to keep being anxious for a while, but knowing that there are people like you out there who support me is such a great comfort. I hope we can meet up in person today at a convention or a market so I can thank you directly!

May your 2025 be full of exciting and beautiful things.
